Animals Are Very Responsive To the Energetic Healing Properties of Flower Essences.
"Animals and plants are naturally designed to be a part of one another...but most domesticated animals are denied access to the plants they need in maintaining a healthy state of physical and emotional well being. Flower essences offer the pet owner safe, effective, easy-to-administer and infinitely useful solutions to many of their animals holistic health needs."
----Gregory L. Tilford,
Herbalist, author and founding president of the Natural Pet Products Association
All but one of our flower essence blends are formulated for each animal according to their unique needs and situation. We require a phone interview to gather information from the pet caretaker about the pet's personality, past history, past and current health and any specific challenges.
Please be aware that flower essences will not substitute for proper species appropriate nutrition, adequate exercise or training. For example, if you own a dog breed that hunts, essences will not eliminate that characteristic from your pet.
How to Administer Flower Essences
Flower essences are not like medicines or drugs and need not be swallowed. Once the drops contact the animal, they are doing their job!
Dosages are the same, regardless of the size of the animal. You can not over-dose people or pets with essences, but you can under-dose and not have desired results.
Most bottles include a glass dropper, please be careful that your pet does not bite and break the dropper.
There are several easy ways to give essences to animals:
* Give directly by mouth using the enclosed dropper, placing around gums or very front area of mouth.
* Add 3 to 5 drops to treat or food
* Add a dropper full to the water bowl, refilling each day, using a non-metal bowl (keep out of sunlight)
* Add 1/2 dropper to a small one ounce bottle with spray top with fresh non-chlorinated water. Mist areas the animal will be spending time or sleeping. This can be done several times per day
* Drop several drops onto your freshly washed hands and then gently massage your pets forehead and ears. They love this method and we usually request pet parents to use this method at least twice per day.
For most behavioral or emotional problems, it is recommended starting with 4 to 6 doses per day, for 2 weeks. If you are using an emergency blend, such as a fear blend or Rescue Remedy, doses can safely be administered as often as every 15 minutes until you can see your pet is less stressed. Then repeat every 1/2 hr to every hr, as needed. Once improvement is established, reduce dosed to 3 or 4 per day.
